The Australia-Venezuela Solidarity Network sends revolutionary greetings and our heartfelt congratulations on the 10th anniversary of your election as President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela.
We are honoured to be actively building solidarity with Venezuela’s Bolivarian revolution among the people of Australia, and will continue to stand up proudly for the remarkable achievements of the Venezuelan people in your struggle to construct socialism of the 21st century.
Since breaking the oligarchy’s brutal control of Venezuelan society with your election in 1998, the advances made by the people under your leadership - towards genuine democracy, social justice, self-determination and international solidarity - are a shining example for all of us fighting for human rights, equality and dignity around the world.
We wish you success in the proposed constitutional amendment so that your presidency can continue for as long as the people of Venezuela desire.
